Proactive Pulse - your January edition

Hi Subscriber First Name and welcome to the January newsletter from CG Pro-Active HR. This month I am sharing ideas and resources on improving workplace inclusion.

From the mainstream news to our Linked In feeds and to the grievance in tray in many organisations, we know there continue to be issues where employees feel unfairly treated and/or excluded. And this can be due to a protected characteristic, but also other differences such as being neuro-diverse, or having a criminal record.

As an HR professional, I assume you already know about equality and diversity so this issue is focused on the inclusion element of EDI.

SPOTLIGHT ON…

…Suited for Success, an amazing charity supporting local unemployed men and women prepare for a job interview and attend confidently in a suitable interview outfit.

I have been volunteering with Suited For Success for some years now, predominantly as an interview coach. This year, I and some fellow volunteers are starting an exciting new project to work directly with employers who are looking to extend their ESG / EDI reach in their recruitment.

I will of course share more details later in the year when they are available but, if this sounds like something of interest for your organisation, please get in touch with me.
