Proactive Pulse - your August edition

Welcome to the August newsletter from CG Pro-Active HR.

This month I am looking at challenges, both personal and professional. Whilst I realise the last year or so has been a huge challenge for many of us, I’m staying away from referencing Covid19 in this newsletter.

Instead, some links on other challenges including my personal fitness challenge (😱) and other work challenges. Do get in touch with your thoughts, it would be great to hear from you!

PERSONAL CHALLENGE

I'm taking on a 5 month virtual Triathlon Challenge to raise some money for Alzheimer's Research. (And to give me motivation to up my exercise levels!)

From 23rd July to 23rd December, I am aiming to complete....

swim a half marathon distance (13.1 miles)
cycle 150 miles
run and/or walk 500 miles

Given that since having Covid last year, my activity levels have been fairly low, this is going to definitely be a challenge!
