Hi Subscriber First Name and welcome to the November newsletter from CG Pro-Active HR. This month I am considering what we mean by “truth”? This has come up for me in several ways recently, triggered initially away from work by the excellent BBC series “The Capture”. If you haven’t seen it, it is one of the best / scariest programs I have seen in a long time and I strongly recommend finding it on iplayer. And, if you have seen it, I am more than happy to chat about the contents and concepts covered 👀 From a work perspective, anyone who has spent any time with me will know I am often found to be referring to the “single source of truth” - the holy grail of HR data, having just one version, with no duplications or other lists elsewhere! Next, an interesting conversation in an employee relations setting that evidence did not necessarily mean truth - link to my blog on this below…. And then discussions on when to disclose and discuss difficult information on a CV or during a recruitment process. Read on and decide for yourself.
